Uhuru Walk’s Team Leader and Mentor Sarah Suleman, has a passion for learning and teaching new information at a ‘conceptual’ level. Or shall we say, learning about the big ‘why’s’ of a topic. “Training our minds to question connections between things and purposes is far more effective than depending on cramming rules or queues,” she says. Our lessons work towards the former goal. This week, we concluded our conceptual exploration into the topic of Transportation by understanding how vehicles, infrastructure and occupations are connected to each other. Concurrently, our little ones mastered identification and writing of the letter ‘S’.
