Designing flipbooks and stepping into our inner architect’s shoes, this week we reflected on our homes. We also shared laughs on midnight snacking stories from the children, and how treehouses were no fit place for a human to live – unless you meant to be eaten by a wild animal!

In our very first session, our team of Volunteering Teachers warmed up to each other and the children while testing their existing abilities in interpersonal communication. Fun play-time was utilized as a means to introduce the basics of interpersonal communication in the English language.
Hands-on learning to learn what our hands feel? That’s the goal! In this session, we taught the children about textures of all kinds and the organs used to identify them.
