World Kindness Day

On 13th November 2021, children from Meadows Academy and other well-wishing donors celebrated World Kindness Day, pooling together stashes of storybooks, clothes, toys, and food items in large quantities for the beneficiaries of Uhuru Walk. Some of them even joined our weekly classes to spend time with the children as mini-volunteering teachers. While reading books and completing worksheets together, the smiles on their faces reminded us of how valuable a small act of kindness can be in reminding children that they are cared for.
