Learning about nutrition encompasses more than just knowing what is healthy and unhealthy. This week, we built our plates with a healthy mix of foods from all food groups and learned the advantages of eating foods from each food group. The children also role-played as chefs building fruit and vegetable salads, giving them a practical opportunity to engage with lesson content as well as enrich their teamwork skills.
